The Calvary Lutheran Library
Welcome to the library! The Calvary Lutheran Church Library is open to all members of our congregation and community. We seek to provide both print and no print material which strengthens the educational work of the church, increases our knowledge of our own faith and others, enriches our worship life, provides information on social and economic issues, fosters an appreciation of good literature, and deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ.
Listed below are steps for borrowing an item from the library. We ask that you follow these steps so that items may be used and returned in a timely manner. Thank you for your cooperation and may God bless your adventure in learning.
1. To find a specific item, check the card catalog or the Item Listing on the credenza.
2. Once you have selected an item, please complete the card in the back of the book with your name and the date you are borrowing the item. Place the card in the box provided. Please return the item within 30 days.
3. As a reminder to yourself, write the date the item is due on one of the green cards provided and slip it in the pocket.
4. When returning the item, place it on the small table just inside the door to be reshelved.
5. If you have suggestions for the library or questions, please call Dot Williams at 438-0909.
