Children in Worship

ALL CHILDREN ARE WELCOME in worship at Calvary. In fact, many will tell you that a favorite part of their Sunday is the sounds and joy of our youngest worshipers! That being said, we know it is not always an easy task to bring your children to worship, so we want to support you as best we can. Here are a few ways we do that:

Children’s Message
During our 10:00 worship service we offer a time for the children to come to the front of the nave (worship space) to hear a message that has been specially prepared for them.

Nursery
While we do not at all mind the sounds of children in worship, we also know that sometimes kids just need a break. We offer a nursery area for children birth to 3 years during our 10:00 a.m. service on Sundays. (See an usher for location) We do not currently have attendants in the Nursery so you must stay with your child.  There is a speaker in the room so you can still hear the service.

Activity Bags and Spark Bibles
There are activity bags with crayons, coloring sheets, etc. located in the Narthex (entrance at the back of the worship space) to help busy hands. We also provide Spark Children’s Bibles in each pew so they can follow along with our scripture for the day or simply read/look through stories of faith.
